The Love Gift
A simple chart concerning the plan of redemption and the glorification of God which is based on God's Sovereignty and the definite atonement of Jesus Christ.

Men can be redeemed.  Some have been redeemed and are saved.  Amen and Halleluiah! However, any benefit, which we, the people of God, receive from such a holy and loving act of the Father to the Son, is secondary to the completeness of God’s eternal plan.  God was not lonely, He was not sad, He was not in need of creatures we call human beings, nor any other aspect of creation.  He was content and blessedly happy in and of Himself.  But His joy and love for His Son must be exercised, and so, He decrees to give His Son a bride.

It is a most glorious blessing that we who have been redeemed have obtained a precious faith.  We have received salvation from sin through the blood of the Savior.  But our minds should not be set in thinking that we were first in God’s plan of salvation, certainly not.  We are an after thought in comparison to the Son of God.  We have been given a blessing in the midst of the Father’s love to His beloved Son, but we are not the reason we were created.  We were created for the enjoyment and pleasure of God.  We were redeemed that we may be a love-gift to His Son.  I pray this chart may expand our understanding of who we are as God’s love gift to His Son, Jesus Christ.
